Two River Little League(TRLL) Coaches Clinic Overview
The Two River Little League Baseball & Softball mandatory Coaches Clinic brings together local trainers, varsity and middle school coaches, and even professional players to help our volunteer coaches grow their skills and confidence. This event supports coaches from every level — recreational, travel, and softball — through hands-on learning and professional instruction.
Purpose of the Clinic
The goal of the TRLL Coaches Clinic is to provide a balanced mix of education, live demonstrations, and networking. Whether you’re new to coaching or have years of experience, this session is designed to help you develop players, strengthen your coaching approach, and connect with others who share the same passion for youth baseball and softball.
What Coaches Can Expect
- Instruction from local high school, middle school, and professional coaches
- Hands-on demonstrations covering drills, game situations, and practice organization
- Discussions on player safety, strength, and injury prevention
- Tips on coaching philosophy and communication across different levels of play
- Opportunities to network and share experiences with fellow coaches
Event Details
Location: If weather permits, outside at RFH or RBR High School.
Date: Saturday morning, early to mid-March
Time: About 2 hours
Each session features a combination of live demonstrations and breakout discussions — from infield and outfield techniques to pitching, catching, and game management. Coaches will also learn practical approaches to warm-ups, injury prevention, and player motivation.
